This splitter can be used for installing the bi-xenon function of the Mini projectors, if the headlights have separated high beams and fit H7 bulbs. The splitter creates two high beams, a halogen high beam (H1) as well as a projector high beam. In Europe, this is legal. It is applied to several cars with OEM xenon. However, it is illegal in the US and Canada.
The H7 splitter takes up 12V of the high beam. It uses the power destined for the projector solenoid.
