This splitter can be used for installing the bi-xenon function of the Bi-xenon and Bi-LED projectors, if the headlights have a separated high beam and fit 9006 bulbs. The splitter creates two high beams, a halogen high beam (9006) as well as a projector high beam. In Europe, this is legal. It is applied to several cars with OEM xenon. However, it is illegal in the US and Canada.
The 9006 splitter takes up 12V of the high beam. It uses the power destined for the projector solenoid.
